Position Summary

The Analyst Internship position will support the Gathering and Processing Administrative Services organization in various capacities. We are looking for individuals who can contribute to our inclusive work environment. The Analyst Intern will play a role in enabling our business to make informed decisions, adapt to change, and continuously improve. They will be involved in various learning and support activities, including Knowledge Management, Process Improvement, and general Administrative Services.

This position is based in Denver, Colorado, and the candidate will report directly to the Director of Administrative Services. They will also receive work instructions from team leads within the department, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, manipulate, format, and visualize data using tools such as Excel and BI reporting tools.
  • Provide support in administration and content creation for various SharePoint sites.
  • Offer technical writing support in the development of department standards, procedures, and training materials.
  • Learn core Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data requirements and assist in data collection, aggregation, input, and auditing processes.
  • Generate business improvement dashboards to support programs and key performance indicators.
  • Familiarize yourself with the SAP environment to provide reporting, troubleshooting, and issue resolution support.
  • Collaborate with the G&P Operational Excellence Coordinator, Sr. Manager Knowledge Management, Manager Contract Management, and others as needed.
  • Develop an understanding of midstream gathering and processing fundamentals to support auditing G&P's asset footprint against internal systems of records.

Experience and Education:


  • Required High School Diploma or GED

Skills:


  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Tableau, MS Power BI, or similar applications is a plus.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and make progress on them.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills for analysis and problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong personal organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
